Bureau for Vocational Rehabilitation
Provides direct, personalized services to help individuals get jobs. In the process, a counselor works on a one-to-one basis with a person who has a disability to plan an individualized program to meet his or her particular needs. The program includes one or more services specifically designed to lead to gainful employment.
Services may include:
- medical
- psychological
- vocational evaluation
- physical and mental restoration
- vocational training (including supplies and books)
- occupational tools and equipment
- job placement and follow-up
